Located in Church Lane Banbury is a little gem of a sandwich shop that serves freshly made salads, sandwiches, baguettes, home-made soup, cakes and biscuits.    BOAR makes use of  fresh ingredients which are locally sourced and prepared in their own kitchen that has just been awarded  5 stars by environmental health for the 2nd year running.

 

Corporate lunches

BOAR also provides local businesses with their corporate lunches which can be delivered to premises in their own refrigerated van.

Tongues and tastebuds will be in for a treat with the arrival of a French Market in Banbury on Friday, 28 March the Savoir Fayre Market will take up residence.

Visitors will be able to browse up to 40 stalls selling a range of French crafts, clothing accessories and foods including cheeses, meats and breads.

Cllr George Reynolds, Cherwell District Council’s deputy leader, said: “Banbury and Bicester are both traditional market towns and these continental markets fit that theme while offering a little something different for shoppers.

“We recently held an Italian market in Bicester and Kidlington so for anyone who missed out on a taste of Italy; there is an opportunity to sample the delights of France. And for those who did enjoy the Italian market, why not come along to the French market and enjoy a different taste of the continent.”

The market will take place in Banbury Market Place on Friday, 28 March from 9am – 5pm.

STITCHES has recently opened their new premises in Banbury’s Market Place and has over 30 years of experience in clothing repairs and alterations for men, women, children and even infants.  We pride ourselves that we can adjust clothing to fit any shape and size.

Found the perfect pair of trousers – but they’re just a little too long?  Not to worry, we can make the necessary alterations and have them ready as soon as you need them.  We will also adjust any suit or garment to give you the perfect fit, and dry clean it for you ready to wear when you need it.

We also offer discounts to companies for bulk alterations and dry cleaning, and we also offer free training for your staff.
