Bonjour!! French market arrives in Banbury’s Market Place 🙂
Tongues and tastebuds will be in for a treat with the arrival of a French Market in Banbury on Friday, 28 March the Savoir Fayre Market will take up residence.
Visitors will be able to browse up to 40 stalls selling a range of French crafts, clothing accessories and foods including cheeses, meats and breads.
Cllr George Reynolds, Cherwell District Council’s deputy leader, said: “Banbury and Bicester are both traditional market towns and these continental markets fit that theme while offering a little something different for shoppers.
“We recently held an Italian market in Bicester and Kidlington so for anyone who missed out on a taste of Italy; there is an opportunity to sample the delights of France. And for those who did enjoy the Italian market, why not come along to the French market and enjoy a different taste of the continent.”
The market will take place in Banbury Market Place on Friday, 28 March from 9am – 5pm.
