The Pinto Lounge

Pinto LoungeThe Pinto Lounge in Banbury’s High Street

‘The Lounges’ are informal, neighbourhood food led cafe/bars open all day, every day, where families, friends, and locals can come for a coffee, a drink, or something to eat in a relaxed, comfortable environment.

The Lounge menu is available all day and offers a wide range of dishes including an extensive brunch menu, a selection of proper-job burgers, a great selection of tapas and more restaurant style monthly specials.  There is an extensive selection of coffee, tea, cakes and pastries, smoothies and fresh juice, and a small selection of wines, draught beers & cocktails.

What to expect other than great food …

Pinto opened in November 2010 in what had previously been a photography studio, which meant that internally the space was subdivided into lots of small rooms, and at first it was bloomin’ difficult to appreciate its size and scale.  However, following some good old Loungers sledgehammer action we’ve been able to reveal a very spacious and quirky space.  Pinto comprises a typical Victorian shop unit to the front and a surprisingly large room with very high ceilings to the rear.  With eighty covers internally and a further thirty in the courtyard terrace to the rear she’s a bit of a tardis is this one.

Having a party?  We’d love to play host …

You can book a large party and we never disappoint.  From a quiet table for two or something a little larger to an office catchup or a quick meet up before going on for the evening, we can cater for any occasion.

Interesting fact

Whilst stripping out the unit we uncovered some old Victorian tiles on the wall which is now in our back bar.  Suffice to say we opted to keep the tiles and after some good elbow grease and general TLC they came up a right treat.  On the opening night a chap came in and told us that his father used to work in the building when it was a butchers many moons ago (hence the tiles).

The Mobile Dent Repair Specialists

Experts in Paintless Dent Removal since 1996

There are all kinds of ways your car can receive minor damage, from a trolley dent at a supermarket to a small impact, such as a bump during parking. These scratches and dents are very annoying, and can often be quite expensive to put right. But at Dent Worx we use a unique technique using specially designed equipment that restores the damage without the use of filling and re-spraying, as long as the paint is still intact and the metal not too stretched. The process we use is called Paintless Dent Removal and involves precision manipulation of the damaged area using purpose-designed hand tools.

No Paint, No Filler – 100% Paintless Dent Removal – Over 20 years experience

We Come To You!

Unlike most other car repair services, where you would need to take your car in and leave it for a day or two, we can repair your vehicle at your home, or wherever else is convenient for you, such as your workplace, so you do not have to waste any of your precious time taking the car to a service garage and having to find alternative transport for the next day or two. It will take us from about 20 minutes for a small repair up to one or two hours for larger repairs. This makes us cheaper, quicker and more convenient than any other repair service.

However, please note that we do not deal with severe collision damage, which require traditional bodyshop repairs.

So if you are in Banbury, or the surrounding areas such as Adderbury, Bodicote, Aynho or Bloxham, our fully trained, highly skilled professionals can fix that dent for you speedily and professionally, saving you time and money.

Before committing yourself, you can request a free estimate via email using our online form, or by emailing us directly. You will need at least one photograph of the damage, your name, contact details and the make, year and model of your car. We read all requests within 24 hours, though responses may take a little longer. You will be able to see just how much you will save in comparison with traditional bodyshop repairs. Our website also has a gallery of before and after pictures, as well as testimonials from satisfied customers.

All proceeds from sales go to help run the Katharine House Hospice, which provides first class palliative care to Banbury and the surrounding area.

What do they do?

Katharine House Hospice delivers healthcare called specialist palliative care, for patients and their families. It delivers this care in any setting including within the hospice building, within the patient’s home and in the Horton Hospital.

Specialist palliative care is for those who have a diagnosis of any illness such as heart failure or cancer, which is advanced and therefore cannot be cured.

The purpose of palliative care is to help the patient live as fully and comfortably as possible in the last period of life by focusing on their needs. It also aims to support their family, both practically and emotionally, with all aspects of caring for someone they love.

We therefore offer holistic care. This care addresses physical, spiritual, emotional and social needs. Each patient and family is unique and so we make every effort to deliver that holistic care with an individual focus.

We work alongside other health and social care professionals including GPs. Our care is free of charge.
